AMTRA is pleased to advise that the first exam since mid-March is now available for booking.
We know that this is very short notice, but feedback suggests some will still want to take their exam very soon.
This first exam is on Wednesday 12 August at Harper Adams University in Shropshire.
This first exam does not include the farm-animal module – exams involving the farm-animal module will follow soon. All categories may apply for this first exam but the farm module would have to be taken at another time/place.
We will not be accepting bookings from those living in the newly announced lockdown areas of England (gov.uk/guidance/north-west-of-england-local-restrictions-what-you-can-and-cannot-do)
Places are limited and are first-come-first-served, so will be allocated in order in which a completed exam booking form is received in the AMTRA office (if needed, download the right booking form for your first AMTRA exam, or if you’ve sat an exam previously). For the avoidance of doubt, the normal 3-week booking deadline does not apply for this exam.
Please ensure we have an email address for you that is checked frequently as exam information will be sent by email.
Priority will be given to candidates who were on one of the exams cancelled since mid-March provided the booking form is received by 5pm on Tuesday 4 August – after that all will be treated equally.
This is a pilot exam and we expect that further dates will be added in due course once we are confident about how the implementation of the Covid measures has gone. Initially new exam dates are expected to be at Harper Adams University, with other sites then following.
When we send out exam information to those with confirmed bookings, we will include additional material which will be Covid-19 specific – it is important that you read this information carefully.
