Professional Standards and Complaints about SQPs
Professional standards
All SQPs are required to abide by the current version of the Code of Practice, to abide by the Veterinary Medicines Regulations taking account of VMD's Veterinary Medicines Guidance Notes, and to act in a professional manner.
AMTRA will work with the Animal Medicines Inspectorate of the VMD to investigate complaints, in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between the Veterinary Medicines Directorate and AMTRA.
Complaints about SQPs
AMTRA's Professional Standards Committee and Board will consider written complaints about SQPs alleged to have breached the Code or alleged to have acted in some other way which might constitute a breach of professional standards.
